About Safer Online
We’re a London-based team on a straightforward mission: making the UK’s schools, families, and workplaces meaningfully safer online.
Safer Online is operated by Real Code Ltd, a technology company registered in England and Wales (No. 8919593). We’ve built a platform that delivers practical, up-to-date online safety training to the people who need it most — children and young people, the parents trying to protect them, and the employees who represent their organisations every time they open a laptop.
Why This Matters
The internet has transformed how we work, learn, and connect. It’s also introduced risks that evolve faster than most organisations — let alone families — can keep up with:
- 39% of UK businesses reported a cyber security breach or attack in 2023 (DCMS)
- 1 in 5 children in the UK report being bullied online (Ditch the Label)
- Phishing attacks account for over 80% of reported security incidents
- Children as young as eight are regularly using AI tools with no guidance on doing so safely
Awareness alone isn’t enough. People need practical skills they can actually apply — and that’s what our courses deliver.
What We Offer
- Parents Course — understand the platforms your children use, spot warning signs, and have the conversations that matter
- Primary School Course — age-appropriate online safety education for pupils aged 7–11
- Secondary School Course — honest, practical digital literacy for teenagers aged 11–18
- Corporate Course — employee onboarding on cyber safety, phishing, AI risks, and data protection
Our Approach
We don’t do scare tactics or jargon. Our content is evidence-based, written by UK security and education specialists, and designed to be genuinely engaging rather than something people click through just to get a certificate. Every course takes learners from the basics upwards — no prior knowledge required, grounded in UK law and real UK platforms.
Our Commitment to Privacy
Real Code Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZB939242. We handle all personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
